Visual Voice Fine Art is proud to present another wonderful solo show: ‘This Rural Life’ featuring the watercolours and paintings by Twila Robar-DeCoste

Twila Robar-DeCoste has always lived in rural Nova Scotia. She grew up on a small hobby farm and spent most of her youth helping out with the small herd of cattle, horses and hayfields. She likes finding quiet country spots, driving on back country roads, walking through fields and woodlands, and loves “the colours, shapes and textures of long settled farmland.”
The exhibit is a celebration of the rural landscape, inquisitive farm animals, and well loved, rustic (and rusty) implements. To view it is to be transported to a slower pace of life, a refreshing and welcome respite.

Join us at the gallery from October 4 to October 30 to view it in person. It is so much better than online! – some of the frames have reclaimed wood that just needs to be seen..

Visual Voice Fine Art is located at 128 King Street, in downtown Truro. Gallery hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12:30-5:00 pm or by appointment 902-843-9464. You can book for a private viewing. Covid protocols in place.

We are happy to ship and we offer curbside pickup. Looking for something special? Tell us your preferences and we will find something to please you within your budget.
