Scarecrow Village Registration
September 25 – October 31, 2023
Scarecrow Village at the Truro Harvest Festival is coming back this year! We’re encouraging all organizations in the downtown area to take part.
All registered scarecrows will also be marked on the Scarecrow Village map which will be available online and through a printed brochure. The People’s Choice Scarecrow will be voted on throughout the event with the winner being announced on Monday, October 23, 2023. There is also the potential that we will include your scarecrow(s) in one of our Crime Scene Investigation storylines for social media, happening throughout the festival. Scarecrows must be family-friendly and appropriate for display.
Register a Scarecrow
Scarecrows must be registered by September 20, 2023, to be included in promotional materials for the Truro Harvest Festival.
Scarecrows must be displayed from September 25, 2023 – October 31, 2023.
Businesses are responsible for the care and maintenance of their own scarecrows, we will have some scarecrow bodies to borrow if you would one of our scarecrow bodies please let us know and we will bring it to you.
