For consideration to participate in the Truro Pride Parade and associated activities to be held on June 22, 2024, I, the signer, and my group including all successors, agents, and representatives do:

1. Acknowledge that I fully understand that I will be engaging in activities that involve risk including, but not limited to injury, death, and economic loss.

2. Assume any and all risks to myself, my group, and my / our property.

3. Agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Downtown Truro Partnership/ Truro Pride Society, the Town of Truro, Truro Police Service, their officers, agents, employees, and volunteers, and all other participants from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses caused by or arising in connection with the Truro Pride Parade.

4. If participating in the parade with an animal, I declare that I will and am able to take total responsibility for any actions of the animal and will not subject the animal to any undue stress or anger.

5. Hereby assume full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage due to the negligence of those parties listed above while participating in the event.

On behalf of the above-named parade registrant, I hereby waive and refuse any and all rights and claims for damages against the Downtown Truro Partnership (DTP) and/or its sponsors, officers, or members. I also agree to abide by all rules and regulations as outlined by the Truro Pride Society.
