802 Prince Street, Unit LL03 Truro, Nova Scotia (902) 956-2300 Triangle Events is a locally-owned company with expert event planners Rebecca, Raven, and Hannah. Whether you are planning a private party, a business meeting, or a large public event, Triangle Events has you covered! Triangle Events has been in business since September 2019, when they started out by purchasing two existing local events, TAPPED and BOTTLED. Their first BOTTLED event was in February of 2020, but the global pandemic struck shortly after, putting a pause on major events. The Triangle Events team managed to squeeze in a few events throughout the pandemic as restrictions eased, but they are looking forward to 2023 being their first full year of operations without any interruptions. One event that they created during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic was their Halloween Family Fun Day, and Halloween is Rebecca’s favourite holiday. As restrictions eased, they went to work planning a safe trick-or-treat event for the children in the community. They hosted a spectacular event where parents brought their children to the Best Western in Truro for Halloween. Children showed up in their Halloween costumes and trick or treated around the local hotel. They knocked on motel doors and were greeted by volunteers who safely gave the children candy.

Triangle Events owns their own events, TAPPED Truro Craft Beer Fest and BOTTLED Truro Wine & Spirits Festival that they host annually. BOTTLED is a Truro wine and spirits festival including cider and mead as well. BOTTLED is usually hosted in February. TAPPED is a craft beer festival, which includes breweries that are members of the Craft Brewer’s Association of Nova Scotia. TAPPED usually takes place each year in April, craft beer month. At both events you get to sample local products and take home a custom event glass. There are also games, food, and entertainment. When the team at Triangle Events first started, TAPPED and BOTTLED were going to be the extent of their events, however, they filled a few special requests and decide to continue with a variety of events. Along with the events they own, they also partner with a variety of people to host other events. There is no event too big or small for the Triangle Events team! Festivals, trade shows, conferences, weddings, corporate events, community events, fundraisers, or private functions the team at Triangle Events can help! Triangle Event staff also run the Peg in Masstown so if you want to host your gathering there, they can help!

The staff at Triangle Events loves being located in Downtown Truro as the town has so much to offer. “Truro has grown so much in the past few years,” says Raven, “the town is filled with talent and resources.” Raven and Rebecca are people from the community and people for the community. They love seeing the town thrive and want to bring events to Truro that allow our community to celebrate and for visitors to explore. Triangle Events works hard to reduce the cost of their events for guests. They want their events to be easily accessible for everyone. The Triangle Events staff is always looking to partner with others on events to help lower costs and to offer the best experience. When asked what their favourite part of the job was, Raven and Rebecca both said the events. They love helping people make their vision a reality. “Celebrating and seeing happy people after working through the planning process is extremely rewarding,” said Rebecca. They both agreed there was nothing better than helping to reduce the stress of event planning for someone. They want their customers to know that they’re never alone and they work hard to make sure everyone is relaxed and stress free throughout the entire planning process.

Raven and Rebecca are most proud of each other when it comes to the business. They both work tirelessly and never give up. The fact that their business is located in a building full of women-owned businesses inspires them to keep going each day. They love cheering one another on and collaborating. The Triangle Events staff will help you plan any event. They can work with absolutely anyone, however, they do have a few events that they hope to be able to help someone plan someday. Rebecca’s ideal event would be a dog’s birthday party. She would love to help someone go all out to spoil their furry friend. Raven, however, would love to help someone plan a destination wedding. She would love to take the stress off so you can enjoy your vacation and event. The staff at Triangle Events can help you with event planning regardless of the event. Life’s an event, celebrate it with us! At Triangle Events we want to celebrate our community by bringing together all walks of life with creative events. Event Counselling Are you planning an event and could use some help, but don’t have the budget to hire someone to oversee the entire thing? We offer “Event Counselling” sessions. These sessions are designed to make sure you get off on the right foot and have all the tools and guidance necessary to plan the perfect event. Rentals We want to help you plan your event without breaking the bank. This is why most of our inventory is available for rent, and below the cost of our competitors. Corporate Events Tradeshows, conferences, expos, luncheons/banquets, receptions, staff functions; you name it, we’ve got your business covered! We understand that you probably don’t have an event planner on staff, so that’s what we’re here for! Weddings Your special day should be stress free (even though we know that’s not really possible, but we’re here to help)! Whether you need assistance with logistics, set-up/tear down, or both, we can take care of it all. Community Events & Fundraisers We are very passionate about our community and strongly believe that we all need to support each other. If you have a community event or a fundraiser that you need assistance with, please let us know and we would be happy to see how we could help you out. Private Functions Are you trying to plan a good old fashioned [birthday/graduation/retirement/bachelor(ette)] party, but don’t have the time or patience to plan it all out? Triangle Events can quickly supply the staffing needed for any event, with professional and experienced workers you can trust. We are three very different women, but we all have one thing in common: our passion for bringing new & exciting events to our community.
