10:45AM-12:00PM | Panel: Immigration successes in business and communities

In this panel, moderated by Kelliann Dean, new CEO of the NS Office of Immigration, you will learn about the current state of immigration in Nova Scotia and hear directly from employers and a settlement organization who are using programs successfully to meet labour needs and build welcoming communities.

12:00PM-1:00PM | Lunch

1:00PM-3:00PM | Afternoon Discussion: Where Are New/Growing Businesses Coming from in NS?

HOLIDAY GIFT SUGGESTION:
💵 Downtown Dollars 💵

Five quick facts:
1. Downtown Dollars are legal tender (just like CDN currency).
When you pay for something with Downtown Dollars - you'll get change back in CDN currency.

2. Downtown Dollars DO NOT EXPIRE! Buy now, give later - doesn't matter. They're the ultimate gift since they can be used throughout downtown Truro.
If you dig one out from the bottom of your bag next year 😬 - you can still use it!

3. Downtown Dollars support local businesses by putting dollars back into our local community!

Please take a look at the important traffic message from the Town of Truro regarding parking during this year's Santa Claus Parade.

For more information on the Santa Claus Parade visit www.facebook.com/events/2216570208641315/IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTE 🚨 :

The Town of Truro would like to advise that there shall be no parking along the Santa Claus Parade route on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

Parking restrictions are being enforced to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to see the parade without vehicles blocking their view. We also feel it is important for parade participants and spectators to have an unobstructed view so that everyone can be safe.

The majority of the route is currently designated as “No Parking” and additional temporary signage will be posted along the remainder of the route the day of the event. Designated no parking areas will be strictly enforced along the parade route.

The Town thanks you in advance for your cooperation to ensure the safety of all.

Have fun and enjoy the parade!
