Join us in Civic Square on Saturday, October 30 from 2pm to 4pm for our first annual Downtown Truro Trick-Or-Treat event! Dress up in your finest Halloween costume and you’ll be rewarded with delicious treats from a variety of Downtown Truro businesses.

Important Information

• • All participants must enter the trick-or-treat circle from the PRINCE STREET entrance to Civic Square.
  • Trick-or-treaters age 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate. Trick-or-treaters under the age of 12 must be accompanied through the circle by a fully-vaccinated adult parent or guardian. We will be following Nova Scotia Public Health’s definitions of fully-vaccinated (14 days after the second shot of an approved vaccine).
  • No running in the trick-or-treat circle! We ask that each group of trick-or-treaters waits for the group ahead of them to move forward before moving to the next station.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.
  • Each participant may only go through the trick-or-treat circle one time.
  • **While supplies last. The event is planned to go from 2pm-4pm, however it is possible that we could run out of candy before 4pm.
