She’s excited to take the reins and is committed to maintaining the aspects you love while also introducing a fresh, new perspective. Nicole looks forward to continuing the shop’s tradition of excellence and bringing new energy to Copper Collective.
Nicole took over Copper Collective in August 2024, bringing her deep love for the shop and its community with her. Her vision for the store includes creating a more masculine experience to expand its customer base, while still honoring the shop’s beloved character. Nicole’s background in support has equipped her with a unique perspective and a creative edge that she is excited to bring to Copper Collective.
With a rich background in art and music, Nicole has spent years coordinating various creative projects while also managing the responsibilities of raising a family. Her diverse experiences have honed her skills in organization and innovation, which she is now excited to apply to her new role.
In addition to her artistic and familial commitments, Nicole has a history of helping friends establish their own vintage shops. This hands-on experience has given her valuable insights into the vintage market and a deep understanding of what it takes to create a successful retail space. Now, with her own shop, Nicole is ready to shine and bring her unique vision to life, combining her passion for vintage with her extensive background in the arts.
One of the things Nicole is most excited about is the opportunity to connect with people and deepen her ties to the community. Since arriving in Downtown Truro, she has been particularly impressed by the vibrant mix of diversity that characterize the area. She appreciates the dynamic blend of professional businesses, charming small shops, and cozy cafes that give the downtown its unique character.
Having spent much of her life in various parts of the province, Nicole is delighted to find herself in such a diverse and welcoming community. She values the rich variety of experiences and perspectives that this blend of businesses and local spots brings, and she looks forward to becoming an active part of this thriving, multifaceted environment. Nicole is eager to engage with residents and contribute to the community she has come to admire.
