With an over 40-year history of operating in Downtown Truro, the TFMC is still growing. Since moving to its current home in 2011 the market has seen significant growth in vendors, customers, and the ability to operate year-round!

ED Cameron Mackay, along with Market Manager Sera Senakovicz and their passionate team, helps keep the market buzzing with anticipation for the array of innovative ideas they plan to introduce to the community. "Friends of the Market" will have several membership types, with their own unique perks & benefits. One most notable is monthly draws for gift baskets. This program is based of off yearly memberships.
-$25 FOTM (1 entry/month for gift basket + access to vendor deals + invites to annual social events free of charge)
-$50 FOTM (2 entries/month + TFMC t-shirt + access to vendor deals + invites to socials free of charge)
-$100 FOTM (4 entries/month + 2 TFMC t-shirts + bandana + access to vendor deals + invites to socials free of charge)

The Truro Farmers’ Market is home to over 50 vendors each Saturday during peak season. A vibrant gathering place in the heart of the community featuring fresh local produce, a wide array of baked goods, jams and sauces, specialty handcrafted goods, decor, body products, delicious prepared foods to eat on site or take away, Nova Scotia wine and spirits, meats, cheese, eggs, honey, flowers, bedding plants and more! Live music and children’s activities add to the appeal of this friendly, local market!
