Fill out a 2018 Christmas Parade Application to participate in this year’s Downtown Truro Santa Claus Parade!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Route description:

Beginning at the Colchester Legion Stadium (14 Lorne St.)

Travelling south toward Queen St. and turning right on Queen Street;

Turning left on Elm Street

Turning left on Prince Street

Turning right on Inglis Place

Turning left on Esplanade Street

Turning left on Walker Street

Turning left on Queen & returning to the Legion Stadium on Lorne.

Please take a look at the important traffic message from the Town of Truro regarding parking during this year's Santa Claus Parade.

For more information on the Santa Claus Parade visit www.facebook.com/events/2216570208641315/IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTE 🚨 :

The Town of Truro would like to advise that there shall be no parking along the Santa Claus Parade route on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

Parking restrictions are being enforced to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to see the parade without vehicles blocking their view. We also feel it is important for parade participants and spectators to have an unobstructed view so that everyone can be safe.

The majority of the route is currently designated as “No Parking” and additional temporary signage will be posted along the remainder of the route the day of the event. Designated no parking areas will be strictly enforced along the parade route.

The Town thanks you in advance for your cooperation to ensure the safety of all.

Come down to the Truro Cenotaph that’s located in front of the Truro Public Library to remember those who have, and are now, serving our country.

Service parade begins from Young Street at 10:45am and ends at the cenotaph. You can expect to see the Legion Pipe and Band, Truro Girls Choir, many dignitaries as well as Veterans.
