Introduction to Rug Hooking

A beginner course in traditional rug hooking using a variety of fibre. The instructor, Jean Ottosen
, will demonstrate and then walk students through learning to hook a simple pattern on burlap backing.

What you will need in class:
a soft HB or B pencil, a medium tip Sharpie permanent BLACK marker (others run when wet), a ruler, long quilting pins.
Needed to finish piece outside of class:
long quilting pins, needle and upholstery or buttonhole thread to match backing (beige).
